Why the V&A want to build a museum in Dundee is somewhat of a mystery to me, but good for them. The competition entries are a bit of a disappointment in general, but this Kengo Kuma proposal looks the nicest to my eyes.

Once you visit the city on the Tay you'll know why: incredible riverside location, huge ever-changing skies, surprisingly sunny and green...what potential and overlooked riches. Oh and cycle routes aplenty. I thought the same before I'd been. Prepare to be dumbstruck!
